Jed, I like the idea of using the same sort of material inside the shower as the bathroom floor.  I know we talked about a shower tub at some point.  For the master bath suite, We’d really like a stand-alone soaking tub which means that we’ll need a shower as well.  Perhaps we can incorporate something like this for the shower. 

 

What about installing heated floors in the master bath?  Is that a huge additional cost?

 

As for the other bathroom, there we can have the shower tub.  However, on the floor in the powder room and in the guest bathroom, could we go hardwood floor rather than tile?
